Russia & Europe - what does the future look like?
In this programme we will explore scenarios for the future relationship between Europe and Russia. Is there any prospect of hope?
Hans van Koningsbrugge, director of the Netherlands-Russia centre, discusses what power shifts are taking place in the geopolitical landscape. How do they foresee the future in Russia and what does this imply for Europe? International peace negotiator Fleur Ravensbergen will provide her perspective on what is needed to stop a war like this and de-escalate the conflicted relationship between Russia and Europe. How to deal with an aggressor that invades another country and violates the lives and rights of many? Is de-escalation a real possibility in the near future? During the last part of the programme, spoken word artist Myrthe Nauta shares her view on the future of young people in Ukraine, Russia and Europe in a live performance.
This programme will be in English and is free accessible.
