GreenSource South Africa
GreenSource is a system based on an underground water storage system, where on top of it an artificial grass is installed (to be used as multi-functional playground) while a multi-barrier treatment system (series of ultrafiltration membrane filtration, activated-carbon and ultraviolet disinfection) cleans the stored for water to be used a drinking water for the local community, while the remaining water will be used as irrigation water.
Saxion is responsible to provide the technical training to the local users/owners, so they will able to operate and maintain the GreenSource system themselves.

The GreenSource project is supported by the Sustainable Water Fund (Fonds Duurzaam Water) of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Netherlands Enterprise Agency - RVO)
