Welcome to Saxion, University of Applied Sciences. You have registered for Art & Technology (a course within Creative Media and Game Technologies) at the school of Creative Technology in Enschede.
The class schedule is available from the end of August and can be found at MySaxion.nl (the portal of Saxion). During the introduction you will be notified about your class and the timetable for the first week.
You can find your list of textbooks on Studystore.nl.
These two days are mandatory and designed to get acquainted with Saxion, the School of Creative Technology, your study and classmates. The programme of the introduction will be available as a download on this page.

These two days are mandatory and designed to get acquainted with Saxion, the School, your study and classmates.
Start your study time with the introduction weekend of study association LiNK (LiNKtro). From August 26 till 28, LiNK organises an introduction camp for the students of the School of Creative Technology. The Saxion introduction time starts immediately after LiNKtro!
During this weekend you can enjoy fun activities and games while getting to know your fellow students. Don't worry if you don't know anybody yet, everybody is new! You'll make friends for life and you'll meet senior students who can help you with problems you encounter during your studies.
On Wednesday 30 August, after the introduction from your course Art & Technology, the Saxion HOI introduction starts. This introduction is for every first year student from Saxion and it is not obligated. The HOI introduction is a great opportunity to get to know the city of Enschede, the student life in Enschede and to meet students from other studies.
In addition to general admission requirements (for international students) such as completed secondary education and sufficient proof of English language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL), students applying for the Bachelor in Art & Technology should also complete an entrance exam. This exam exists of submitting the information described below and an interview by Skype.
For this entrance exam you will be asked to submit the following information as part of the online application: CV (if relevant), testimonials (when available), a letter of motivation, an interactive online portfolio (such as website or weblog) to prove your previous acquired technical skills and creativity.

After we receive your documents and if you meet the general entry requirements, we will assess your admissibility. For this we will schedule a meeting by Skype. The admission officer of Art & Technology will assess the exam.

Voor de studierichting Art & Technology gelden, naast de standaard toelatingseisen van de opleiding, aanvullende eisen voor jouw toelating. Deze eisen toetsen we middels een adviesgesprek en een aanvullende opdracht. We willen met name zien of je voldoende technische en creatieve aanleg hebt. Als jij je voor 1 mei hebt aangemeld in Studielink, dan heb je deze procedure waarschijnlijk al helemaal doorlopen of zit je midden in het proces.
