Requirements
For the master’s degree programme ICT: Software Engineering we seek ambitious students with a talent for innovation. We therefore work not only with a set of minimum educational requirements, but also select students based on their motivation and self-reflective capacities.
Admission Requirements
All students must go through the selection procedure in which they can be admitted or rejected. In order to be considered for admission, you must at least possess:
- a Bachelor of Science degree in software engineering or a related field (e.g. HBO-ICT, Computer Science);
- demonstrable knowledge about object-oriented programming, parallel computing, computer networks, databases, algorithms & data structures, software development processes & tools and research methodology;
- basic mathematical skills including precalculus, algebra, probability and statistics;
- a level of proficiency in English equivalent to TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6 (not necessary if you have a bachelor’s degree from a university in the Netherlands).
